Full Job Description

  • Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviour in the Year 8 class.

  • Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging situations effectively.

  • Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teachers.

  • Support the academic and emotional development of students facing difficulties.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

    Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to supporting students.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and external support services.

  • Commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for students., Behaviour management: 1 year (required)

  • Classroom: 1 year (required)

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)


    • Licence/Certification:
  • DBS on the update service (preferred)

  • EWC registration (preferred)
