Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join the busy Workshop team in our Haslingden Depot (BB4). As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with relevant tools and equipment.

Offering vehicle repair & technical support to both our private customers as well as our Commercial Fleet Customers, this role requires solid technician experience and capability.

We are a very busy Depot with huge opportunity for growth.

The role:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.

  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.

  • Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues accurately.

  • Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

    You must be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (body/electrical/mechanical) and able to demonstrate your knowledge and practical skills.

  • Proven experience, as a Vehicle Technician and able to demonstrate capability.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude are essential. This is a team delivering exceptional results and we seek a team player suited to an excelling environment.

  • Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently & efficiently.

  • Strong team player.


  • As part of the role, you will be servicing and repairing a variety of Class 7 Light Commercial vehicles, some with refrigerated components.,
  • Vehicle Technician: 3 years (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Level 3 Vehicle Repair & Maintenance qualification (required)
