Vehicle Recovery Driver

The role involves recovery of vehicles for breakdown clubs, recovery vehicles for members of public & collection of vehicles for resale / disposal.

Duties include daily checks of recovery vehicles.

Must be able to work on own initiative, but also will have good customer care skills and be able to communicate effectively with members of the public when required.

Basic DBS check will be carried out upon joining Company.

Must have HGV Class 1 or Class 2 (or 7.5t entitlement).

Must hold full driver CPC card & digital drivers/tachograph card.

Work includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

4 on / 2 off Rota

Weekly Pay - Hours and salary will be discussed at interview.

Night work involved, on a call-out rota basis.

Must live within local area due to nature of 'on call' shift work.

Basic Mechanical knowledge needed as can be dealing with range of vehicles on daily basis.

Although previous experience in recovery industry is an advantage, not essential as full training will be provided.
