  • Reporting to the Head of Early Careers for ES&T (CMS), we're looking for a new team member to develop and coordinate a central apprenticeship and work experience programme.

    We are happy to consider applicants from across the UK providing you are happy to occasionally travel as required.

    Key responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Acting as the ambassador for the apprenticeship programme to promote awareness across the business

  • Partnering with leaders across the business to understand future talent requirements

  • Establishing and maintaining a work experience programme as a key element of apprentice programme recruitment

  • Leading on the apprentice programme's recruitment strategy, including web advertising and coordination of career fair attendance

  • Supporting the UK Apprenticeships and Levies Consultant with due diligence of learning providers

  • Ensuring a robust and engaging experience for apprentices and work experience participants, including providing pastoral care support

  • In collaboration with others, supporting the delivery of training and guidance to line managers and mentors

  • Managing the planning and delivery of in-person apprentice events

  • Providing ongoing communication and support to programme participants, their managers and mentors

    Communicate effectively in a variety of settings/through multiple channels

  • Be approachable to work experience and apprentice participants

  • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with other groups to achieve shared objectives

  • Ensure accountability of responsibilities, processes and the measurement of results

  • Apply an organized and efficient approach to developing and improving processes


  • Previous experience in Learning and Talent Development and or STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) related roles is desirable but not essential.
