Spraying Technician

Commercial Sprayers Ltd and it's other group companies are looking for experienced sprayers to join our rapidly expanding business.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare all parts to be painted as required for the paint system specified

- Prepare paint systems to be used in accordance with Manufacturer's procedures

- Competent working with both 1/2 pac, and vinyl paints

- Able to use manual and power tools

- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, masking up and sanding down

- Select and mix paint according to colour scheme and specifications

- Apply primer or finish coat of paint, using spray gun

- Carry out small remedial works i.e., Filling and Sanding, Drilling and Fitting of Handle holes for kitchens

- Disassemble paint/cleaning of own equipment

- Ensuring vehicles are kept fully stocked and maintained at all times

- Generate, agree & implement new initiatives that result in continuous improvements

High level of skill and attention to detail

- Able to work to agreed deadlines to a high standard

- Able to work on initiative as well as part of a team

- Good Communication skills

- To spray both kitchens and uPVC windows, with very high artisanship

- To be motivated and hardworking

- To be a good team player with ability to work independently

- To be honest and reliable

- To have high level of skills and attention to detail

- To be able to work to deadlines however maintaining the highest quality

- Must be confident with the use of spray machinery

- Should have a positive approach & able to problem solve

- Be willing to grow & develop within the company

- Making sure while working in the workshop you adhere to Health and Safety practices and that you are wearing the appropriate PPE required

- Completing final inspection of job and sign off for delivery, The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the desire to develop their skills further.

- Previous professional experience within a prepping and spraying environment is essential

- Full UK driver's licence

- Spray experience is required (candidates without this cannot be considered)
