Full Job Description

You will have the opportunity to hold a key role at a very exciting time for the Trust coming together for the first time operationally to deliver a range of multi-site directorate service transformation projects and cross cutting schemes. You will lead stakeholder engagement, reporting, planning and delivery of service reconfiguration, CIP realisation and improvement projects across a range of operational areas.
You will be working closely with a wide variety of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality patient centred service delivery across the organisation.
The Trust is currently working with our operational teams to identify the opportunities and focus of transformation schemes. We are also working in partnership with a range of organisations across our local health economy to develop our Strategic Transformation Plan. You will be required to work directly with our Associate Director of Unplanned Care, as well as to support cross-cutting improvement projects and strategic longer-term sustainability plans., + You will develop highly collaborative relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders to deliver your role and the agreed outcomes of your portfolio.
+ You will provide professional leadership & guidance to the wider trust and staff in relation to effective project management monitoring and leadership.
+ You will critically analyse information and risks in order to inform wider decision making.
+ You will work with the Associate Directors, CBU teams and corporate areas to use finance and performance information to identify additional areas for CIPs and Transformation.
+ You will provide expertise and support to the Associate Directors, CBU teams and corporate areas to ensure changes are managed in a planned and smooth manner.
+ You will assist the Associate Directors, CBU teams and corporate areas to understand the impact of their changes on other areas of the Trust and ensure that all plans are in the best interest of the whole Trust.
+ You will ensure all projects managed by the Operational Transformation Team adhere to best practice and standard approaches for programme and project management.
+ You will be responsible for ensuring adequate links between finance, information, HR. operations and transformation ensuring that all teams are kept well informed of changes., + Become operationally aware, spending time with staff involved in the teams and specialties in order to gain a real sense of the service issues and view objectively what solutions are possible.
+ Provide leadership and support to those involved in the nominated projects; achieved through coaching and facilitating discussions to encourage creative thinking and identify ways to drive the projects forward.
+ Use a variety of service improvement tools, influencing and negotiation skills to enable the projects to be delivered.
+ Keep up-to-date with relevant guidance, research and evidence based practice relevant to nominated projects and improvement methodology.
1. Programme Management
+ Ensure robust programme and project management methodology is applied to the development and implementation of all nominated projects.
+ Work with Associate Director, Clinical Business Unit managers and clinicians to identify opportunities to improve operational productivity; and to support the development and implementation of project plans.
+ Ensure that nominated projects are adhering to the Governance arrangements that are in place. This will include reporting to track progress and benefits realisation in order to provide assurance to the Trust and its Board with respect to delivery of the improvement Plan.
+ Maintain paperwork and documentation to the highest standard.
+ Effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of projects which will be ongoing and complex.
+ Undertake baseline and maintains risk analysis of the project.
