Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Business Partner to join the HR department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. The role will be to support managers to develop their workforce through planning and partnering with the Talent Acquisition and L&D teams. You will create a positive work environment to enable a motivated and engaged workforce to help optimise employee performance and retention.

Job role:

  • Work with managers and leaders to translate the people strategy to be functionally relevant

  • Support key stakeholders in solving people challenges

  • Partner with c-suite leader and their leadership teams to provide daily HR guidance

  • Use evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address future workforce needs. Analyse trends and metrics with the wider HR and TA team

  • Partner with L&D Business Partner and Head of Talent Acquisition on recruitment and training strategies and issues

  • Influence and build relationships with people around the business

  • Provide guidance on people practices such as restructures and succession planning

  • Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy

  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

  • Provide HR policy guidance

  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning

  • Identify development needs for teams and individuals

  • Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency

  • Lead on projects that will support the growth and maturity of the HR function.

  • Lead your business area on key points of the annual HR cycle

    CIPD 5 or above (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience working at a Senior HR Business Partner
  • Excellent people management skills

  • Analytical and goal oriented

  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics

  • Thorough knowledge of employer/employee legislation

  • Full understanding of all HR function best practices
