Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Resilience Support Analyst at Royal London. As a Resilience Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing crucial support in maintaining business continuity and preparing our organisation for the upcoming operational resilience regulatory deadlines, and beyond. This is a great entry level role, for someone who already has a keen interest in operational resilience, looking for their next progressive role.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will partner closely with the wider Resilience team to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance our organization's resilience.
About the role
- Proactively support the delivery and governance of scenario exercises.
- You will support the team in coordination meetings.
- Driving and tracking continuous improvement through monitoring of our risk posture and tracking of outstanding actions.
- Learn all about Royal London business areas and how they interact, including up and downstream dependencies, to support effective Operational Resilience.
- Learn or increase knowledge across all Pillars of Resilience which include Cyber, Technology, Supply Chain, People and Facilities.
- Understand the policy, structure, and governance for Operational Resilience and support us in compliance.
Keen interest to learn and develop within Operational Resilience, and best practice in Business Continuity. - Has ability to do research and find external resources to support training material and build knowledge of regulatory expectations for Operational Resilience.
- Analytical with strong Excel skills (PowerBI desirable).
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of financial institution functional areas (operational areas/ finance/ technology/ supply chain/ property/ Cyber).
