Full Job Description

As the Recovery Housing Team Leader, you will providing operational leadership and direct line management to the staff team responsible for the delivery of our housing provision across Rossendale, East Lancashire.

You will manage staff rotas, annual leave, sickness, employee relations and the recruitment of new staff members.

Alongside our team of Housing Support Workers, you will take responsibility for needs assessments and case management of individuals across our accommodation in Rossendale. You will also take overall responsibility for the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring we are offering both opportunistic and structured interventions.

  • You will have some experience working in a management and support role, but we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.

  • You are fun, approachable, and warm - someone who can motivate a team to deliver their best.

  • You are a problem solver who likes to see things through to the end.

  • Patience and resilience will come naturally to you. You should have good interpersonal and listening skills as you will be supporting people with sometimes challenging mental health issues.

  • Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives., If successful in securing an interview we will need to ask you about any unspent convictions as part of our duty of care. A criminal conviction will not necessarily prevent you from being offered a role; the decision will depend on the type of offence and its relevance to the role. All of our roles require a criminal record check.

Emerging Futures (EF) works across the country to support people affected by homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. Our greatest resource is our people, so we also offer generous annual leave, pension, employee assistance programme and other benefits.
