Full Job Description

The Quality Specialist assures quality requirements for the organization. You will be responsible in identifying and driving continuous improvement projects by data analysis, inspections, and testing. The Quality Specialist actively builds and spreads quality awareness within the organization by giving training and sharing best business practices by supporting the Quality Manager with the deployment of KONE's quality strategy, governance, and goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize quality performance improvement based on data analysis.

  • Use continuous improvement methodologies to investigate non-conformances and determine root cause, identify corrective actions, and drive actions to closure.

  • Create and analyze large datasets from multiple platforms and analyze trends.

  • Support Quality Manager with target setting.

  • Perform in-process or product inspections and execute measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures to validate that requirements are met.

  • Maintain and update quality records required by the quality procedures.

  • Shares skills and knowledge with the organization about quality methodology and tools and ensures they understand and develop the capability to execute the learnings with established quality procedures and standards.

  • Supports the Quality Manager with internal and external audits.

  • Is responsible for coordinating preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams in managed areas.

    Lift & escalator industry experience is essential.

  • Proven technical quality background is essential.

  • Working knowledge with Quality tools, methods, and systems.

  • Project management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, changing environment, whilst adapting to change and maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, ISO standards (ISO-9001, ISO-14001).

  • Data collection and analysis skills.

  • Auditing experience.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional team.

  • Effective communication in both written and spoken English.

  • Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.
