QC Analyst

Our Quality Control Team play an essential role in ensuring our raw materials are tested and products are manufactured consistently to ensure they are in specification and meet our customer and regulatory requirements., We currently have an opportunity for a QC Analyst, based in our Microbiology laboratory within the Quality Control unit at our Ditton Site. Reporting to the QC Team Leader/Manager, the role will provide technical support to the Production, Sales, and Process Development departments, carrying out testing and solving problems as required.

The position is for a shift analyst working 6:00 - 14:00 (3 days), 14:00 - 22:00 (3 days), 3 days off.

• You must have experience testing in a QC Microbiology laboratory.


• Contribute to improving on-site microbiology standards.


• Good understanding of GMP.


• You will possess excellent attention to detail.


• You should have good laboratory skills.


• You will be educated to BSc in a Microbiology related discipline or possess relevant experience.


• To perform work with a high level of accuracy, and ability to follow procedures.


• To conform with all site quality management systems and health and safety procedure.

• To be an effective communicator, capable of building effective working relationships both internally and externally.


• To have excellent planning and organisation skills; able to manage conflicting deadlines and changes in priorities.
