  • Maintain and grow our internal design system and UI kit, built in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products.

  • Beyond the Day-to-Day

At tiney, we value giving you insight into life at our company and how this role differs from others. There's no such thing as a 'typical week,' and here's a glimpse into what you might experience:
  • Engaging with our remarkable tiney home leaders and organising field trips to their home nurseries. This allows you to gain firsthand knowledge of their needs and brainstorm innovative ideas.

  • Deepening your understanding of our industry and customer requirements by delving into topics such as early years education, childminding regulations, banking/FCA compliance, and safeguarding.

  • Help shape our company rituals, drawing on your experience to participate in retros, standups, design sprints, and strategic stepbacks. Your input will help refine and enhance our team processes and overall strategy., We're a remote-first company, but we occasionally have in-person meetings in our London office - so being able to travel from time-to-time is important.

  • The right kit for the job, including the latest MacBook Pro, second monitor, mouse/keyboard and budget towards a chair and desk.

  • Salary up to £55,000 per annum

  • 28 days holiday, Life Insurance, Mental Health support, monthly socials and much more!

  • Our commitment to diversity

We're seeking individuals who share our passion for reinventing childcare and prioritising the potential of every child. At tiney, trust is paramount, and we only recruit those who prioritise children's welfare in every aspect of their work:
  • 3+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.

  • Proficiency in design tools, including Figma.

  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.

  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

We're building a platform that enables people to open and run their own home-based childcare businesses, allowing passionate early years educators to focus more energy on the children, enjoy doing what they love, and spend less time on the complex business admin and compliance that comes with the job.

  • We launched in early 2020 and have recently raised Series A funding from top European investors. We're at an exciting stage of growth - we have over 900 registered childcare providers in England and we're processing over £20M per annum of childcare payments through our platform. We believe we have a truly sustainable business model with real revenues and a clear path to profitability.

We have global ambitions and believe that the key to our success will be exceptional technical and product execution. Our vision is to make the entire customer experience of choosing and buying childcare, and managing a childcare business, to be as seamless, joyful and safe as modern digital consumers have come to expect.

Childcare is a famously hard sector to crack, but at tiney we believe our unique team, business model and regulatory/market conditions make us the ideal candidates to have an unprecedented impact. Now's an amazing time to join us on this journey.
