Press and Mould Repair Technician

We are actively recruiting for a toolmaker to join a world leading company who manufacture in the UK. This is a position based solely at our Southend plant, covering on a rotational basis a shift pattern of 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm. You will join a multi skilled team supporting manufacturing at this key site.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on press and mould tools



• Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren't available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment)



• Working in line with site tooling techniques and best practices and at all times complying with Health and Safety regulations



• Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs



• Assisting in procurement of purchased spares.
