Full Job Description

  • Performing legal research to assist with case progression.

  • Dealing with new enquiries and preparing initial paperwork.

  • Discussing funding options with clients.

  • Preparing documents such as Letters of Claim and Witness Statements.

  • Preparing Court forms such as Claim Forms and Certificates of Service.

  • Preparing Instructions to experts and Counsel.

  • Obtaining and reviewing medical records.

  • Assisting other Fee Earners in the Team, as and when required.

    Experience: Previous Paralegal / Litigation experience is advantageous., We are seeking applications from Paralegals who ideally have at least 2 years' experience (Medical Negligence experience is ideal but not essential).


  • The successful candidate will require the skills and knowledge to work independently on files and the ability to meet targets. To achieve this, you will have a genuine interest in Litigation, be able to work in a team, as well as independently, and have strong communication skills.

    In addition, you will have effective time management skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines and have strong attention to detail.

    The salary for this role is between £22,000 and £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

    Annual holiday entitlement in a full calendar year is 20 days, increasing yearly to 25 days by 5 years' service. This is in addition to bank holidays and an extra 3 days to be used between Christmas and New Year.

    We have a health benefit in place, which employees are eligible to join after 6 months' service.

    In addition, we offer company sick pay, as well as paid dependant's leave.
