Full Job Description

We are looking for a Paper Product Analyst to join us at our busy office based Didsbury, Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for analytics, data, products and making a difference!

As a Product Analyst you will be responsible for analysis, data interpretation and communication of conclusions regarding Essity and competitor products currently on the UK market. The role provides insight and foresight on market activities and trends, and therefore supports strategic decision making.

This exciting opportunity will place you at the heart of the business whilst providing a platform where you can showcase yourself and grow your career at Essity.

What you will do

  • Monitor and test competitor products available with the marketplace

  • Collect, compile, validate and analyse information from competitor sources to develop recommendations and deliver competitive advantage

  • Prepare and present findings in reports and documents in an accurate and timely manner to support key stakeholders in decision making

  • Report on any key changes and development of trends across important metrics tested

  • Support the commercial team with competitor testing and analysis as required

  • Support the Technical development team with consumer product perception model comparisons for development projects

    Confident communicator, able to present and to demonstrate data led decision making

  • Strong analytical skills; able to draw conclusions and insights from multiple raw data sources

  • Intermediate / advanced excel knowledge. Power BI experience would be an advantage

  • Highly organised, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multi task effectively as part of a team

  • Strong commercial understanding
