Ocean Freight Forwarder

· Maintain and grow current customer base, cross selling across our other market bases.

· Complete the end-to-end process for all ocean export consignments (FCL & LCL).

· Liaise with overseas agents, Merchant haulage, and shipping lines.

· Ability to look over customs documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, BOLs.

· Liaise with our clearing agents to complete custom entries.

· Resolve customer issues and escalate where support is needed.

· Liaise with sub-contractors to arrange carriage of goods to various worldwide destinations.

· Minimum 3 years working for a Freight Forwarder in the UK on Deep Sea. Airfreight knowledge preferred but not essential.

· Ocean/Deep-Sea Experience

· Customs experience.

· Experience in Key Account Management experience.

· Excellent customer service.

· Good verbal and written communication.
