Multi Drop Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative

Clean Slate, specialist in commercial cleaning, are looking to recruit a permanent delivery driver / warehouse operative. Your role will be to regularly deliver cleaning supplies to our customer across the Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and surrounding areas, to ensure that all our lovely team members are looked after and have everything they need to carry out a first class job for our customers.

The role:
· Monday- Friday: 11.00am - 5.20pm (including a 20 minute unpaid break)
· 30 hours per week / £12.00 per hour
· Based on Raynesway Park Drive, Raynesway, Derby

Your delivery responsibilities:

· Safely and efficiently load the transit van with adequate stock and follow pre planned routes to visit our customers.
· to safely transport cleaning supplies to cleaning cupboards & ensure it is put away neatly ready for the team members
· complete necessary paperwork and maintain records of deliveries
· adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
· communicate with customers & team members to ensure accurate delivery details and address any concerns or issues
· representing Clean Slate in a positive manner at all times

Your warehouse responsibilities:

· counting stock take for ordering purposes
· ability to lift heavy objects (multiple packs of bulk pack toilet rolls / hand towels being the heaviest) and perform physical tasks as required
· organise and keep warehouse tidy
· use the pedestrian pallet stacker to store away palleted stock (you will receive full training)
· received deliveries from our suppliers

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)


• Driving: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
  
  · A valid driving licences (more than 6 points will need to be referred to our insurance company to be reviewed)

· An enhanced DBS due to sites that you visit - we pay for this and won't charge you
