Microbiology Laboratory Technician (Grade 2)

· will work in accordance with our UKAS accredited procedures and will help to continuously improve both our service to customers and our Quality System.

· will be laboratory based predominantly in the cosmetics laboratory initially and will be capable of carrying out most test methods.

· will be able to liaise with clients in a positive and professional way.

· will maintain equipment according to service plans and quality system requirements.

Experience of working in a traditional, non-PCR based microbiology lab is very desirable.

A degree is not essential.

The successful candidate must be a positive, self-motivated individual who works well as part of a busy team.

Melbec Microbiology Ltd are currently recruiting for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician (Grade 2) for our Lancashire based laboratory. The hours of work are 10am-6pm Monday to Friday.
