Full Job Description

In the course of overseeing several projects simultaneously, you will be liaising daily with a range of teams and individuals across the business, and coordinating them to ensure the successful, timely, and cost-effective delivery of projects.

These projects aim to provide complex solutions for characterisation and reliability of semiconductor devices (MOS, GaN, Integrated Smart Power Stage or similar).

Reporting to the Laboratory Equipment Development Manager, the Project Leader will be part of the Quality team. To be successful in this role you must have prior experience of managing projects of similar objectives.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Overseeing multiple product driven projects

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to remove blockages and ensure successful and timely deliverables

  • Project Planning : structure and define project scope, objectives and deliverables with cross functional stakeholders

  • Project execution : convert project plans into action and execute the projects to completion in a timely manner

  • Stakeholder management, engaging and maintaining strong relationships with functional leaders

  • Regular reviews with senior Product Group Management, focusing on status report of ongoing projects, roadmap and challenges

  • Coaching and mentoring more junior project managers

    Several years' experience in managing technical projects that focus on electrical test equipment built, from study and prototyping, through to execution, test and release

  • A growth mindset, able to develop yourself and act as a mentor to other team members

  • The ability to consolidate the team / stakeholders and manage conflicts

  • To be technically minded, proficient in data analysis and data tools such as MS Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet

  • CAPM and / or PMP or similar certification

  • Program management experience with several years of experience in managing multiple projects

  • Knowledge of power semiconductors - MOSFETS, GaN, SiC or similar technologies

    We are now looking for a Laboratory Project Leader with a strong technical background to join our team.
