Full Job Description

Bespak are seeking a HR Advisor to join our Human Resources Team at our Holmes Chapel site in Cheshire. This role is a fixed term role to cover a period of maternity leave and offers a competitive salary between £28,000 and £33,000 per year dependent on experience and includes fantastic benefits such as a discretionary annual bonus, 25 days leave plus bank holidays and a holiday buy / sell scheme, 10% company pension contribution, onsite parking and medical + dental insurance.

As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for providing a professional first line Human Resources Advisory and support service to our managers and employees. Working closely with and supporting the wider HR Team in the application of contemporary HR practices spanning the employee life cycle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong HR Administrator who is looking to incorporate first line HR Advisory support into their role or a HR Advisor seeking a new role.

Bespak is a global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) focused on inhaled and nasal drug delivery devices and drug-device combination products. We develop and manufacture finished pharmaceutical products, as well as being a leading global supplier of drug delivery devices and componentry to the pharmaceutical industry. Bespak Holmes Chapel employs over 300 people and specialises in the manufacture of inhalation products such as Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI), Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI) and Nasal Sprays and is focusing on the transition to greener propellants.

As a HR Advisor your duties will include:

  • Pro-active delivery of high-quality generalist HR support for day-to-day HR matters, including support with first line employee relation cases.

  • Leading on the generation of key HR metrics and KPI's to drive data-based decisions and action planning for people related topics.

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment cycle for standard roles across the business; from vacancy creation and candidate management to offer generation and on-boarding support.

  • Supporting Human Resources planning, contributing to the HR strategy at a functional level by identifying opportunities for improvement and where appropriate leading on HR Roadmap projects.

    Degree or equivalent experience; CIPD Qualified or working towards.

  • Previous experience in a client facing generalist HR Advisory or Senior HR Administrator role with some ER case work experience, ideally within a highly regulated environment.

  • Demonstrable experience of providing a high level of customer service and working with HR information and recruitment management systems.

  • A strong drive for continuous improvement of processes and maximising tools and systems to streamline/automate workflows.

  • Agile in approach to work planning, with openness to be flexible on priorities and tasks in order to meet the needs of the team and business.
