Full Job Description

  • To assist in assigning and supervising the work the team according to the staffing model.

  • To deputise in the Head Housekeepers absence and manage the department as required.

  • To assist with co-ordinating the training and induction of staff ensuring records are kept.

  • To check the bedrooms, corridors, staircases and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance.

  • To liaise with the Front Desk staff on reporting of room status.

  • To assist with drawing up special cleaning tasks and to keep records.

  • To issue, repeat and control the guest supplies and advise the Hotel Manager of any purchasing requirements.

  • To carry our paperwork, processes and administrative work as required by Roomzzz.

  • To clean rooms as and when required.

    Passion for cleanliness with a keen eye for detail and high standards.

  • A desire to consistently deliver an excellent level of service and improve departmental performance.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • A focus on quality standards of your own work and those of the team.

  • Drive to lead a team., housekeeping: 2 years (preferred)

    • This role is a zero hour contract on a rota basis, which will include weekends and Bank Holidays. Hours are subject to hotel occupancy.
