Full Job Description

Are you a skilled HGV Technician with a passion for heavy goods vehicles ? We have the perfect opportunity for you! Our Ellington-based haulage company is seeking a dedicated HGV technician to join our team.

Work Schedule:

  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with the option for overtime when needed.

  • A typical day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Days or 6.00PM- 6:00AM Nights


    • Role Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements

  • Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of the fleet.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.

  • Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

    Experience with HGV's particularly Skania Trucks

  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.

  • A can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.
