HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles., Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on vehicles.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs.

Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment.
