Graphics Designer

Here at Marhaba Payments, we want to shake up the 'old' traditions of the financial industry and carve a bold new path where everyone and anyone is welcome! With this in mind we are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team to aid this vision through.

This is a highly creative and innovative role, with the freedom to design new artwork (within brand guidelines) that will be engaging for our customers. You will be involved in all aspects of the design of our marketing brochures, leaflets, points of sale, branded literature and digital marketing, with responsibility for managing the creative aspect of our marketing campaigns from inception to completion. The role is key to the development of our brand identity and visual aesthetics.

You will need to be self-motivated, friendly, confident and well organised. Previous demonstrable experience of designing and producing engaging digital artwork is essential, as is proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud - Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of motion graphics is a benefit but by no means essential.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be able to work under pressure, work to strict deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment. We need someone who can take a brief or idea and generate designs, with the technical knowledge to make changes and adaptations quickly and accurately.

Above all, you will need to have the right attitude. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we expect you to do everything in your power to make their Marhaba Payments experience the absolute best it could possibly be. We don't believe in 'that's not my job' so you will need to be adaptable and flexible to help the wider team meet and exceed our customers' expectations, after all, Marhaba means 'Everyone Welcome'.

Skills/Experience

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud



• Knowledge of graphic fundamentals such as layout, typography & mockups.



• Ability to communicate, justify and qualify design decisions.



• Ability to work across a number of projects/brands at once from brief to delivery.



• Educated to A Level, Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design.



• The ability to be self motivated and driven when needed but also a team player., Bachelor's (preferred), Graphic design: 2 years (required)
