Full Job Description

You will be operating one or more of the PM processes on a project, and be responsible for some aspects of processes or supporting more senior staff on a larger project.
With our huge portfolio of products and our multinational presence, there are opportunities to get involved in something different around every corner.,

  • Undertaking a full range of activities in support of project management, given responsibility for aspects of a project, and facilitating the effective delivery of projects/programmes

  • Supporting the Project Manager through project reporting, escalating issues, and monitoring performance

  • Working independently on routine aspects of the activity, usually under guidance and supervision in more complex situations.

  • You will be attending internal and external customer meetings as well as making sure the project runs to time, to cost and schedule, reporting any issues as early as possible.

  • Driving plan changes to maintain progress and achieve targets

  • We offer a variety of roles within the Air business for our graduates. You will remain in your placement during your time as a graduate and the role you will undertake will vary based on the requirements of the team and the business. It may not include all of the tasks mentioned above and could include additional activities involving other project management practises such as agile methodologies or project controls techniques.

    In this role, you will be gaining experience of working in a project environment. You will be expected to support the application of project management practices and be responsible for your own development., As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Business, Finance, Legal or Project Management related

    BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
