Garden Building Installer and Delivery Operative

Working 4or 5 days out of 7 days a week on average, this active role can have longer days (4 loner or 5 normal).

About the role

You will be on the front line at Pure Garden dealing with customers face-to-face at their property.

The right candidate should be someone who can communicate efficiently with customers and confidently whilst remaining professional, keeping a smile of their face.

• Plastic Sheds


• Metal Shed


• Garden Offices


• Wooden sheds


• Summerhouses


• Garages


This role will include the loading of the van with your teammate, this also may include a towing trailer as well, delivering and/or delivering and assembling garden buildings for leading manufacturers. Making "on our way" phone calls to customers and logging the process in the app.

Other duties will include but may not be limited to:

• Unloading incoming deliveries


• Helping keep the warehouse tidy and organised


• Vehicle Checks


• Use of App's for delivery and assembly tracking.


You will normally be working in a team of 2 people for assembly and deliveries.

We do not manufacture anything, so no previous building or trade skills are required.

All training will be provided.

Selection Criteria:

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, hardworking and enjoy working as part of a team.

This is a manual position that involves some heavy lifting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but rapidly growing team here at Pure Garden Buildings. The company is primarily located in Folkestone and Dover, with a depot in Manchester and Devon. An opportunity to join our team, with this position being in Churston (Devon) based.

Being a growing business, you will need to be flexible and reliable. You may be asked to complete other tasks within the business e.g. help load and unload deliveries.

• A full, clean UK driving licence held for over 2 years.


• A forklift licence or experience is an advantage.


• This position can require overnight stays in hotels.


Starting rate is £11.44 per hour + Bonuses, going up as you learn with our performance / training based payment structure.

• Attendance Bonus - £0.50 per hour


• Towing Trailer bonus - £35.00 per day


• Trained and Competent in 2-3 of the Service Areas - £0.50 per hour


• Trained and Competent in 4-6+ of the Service Areas - £0.50 per hour
