Full Job Description

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for analysing and monitoring Jenoptik UK's financial data, encompassing revenue, spending, and expenses. You will engage with both functional and operational teams to develop a deep understanding of variance to forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities, making an active contribution towards optimization of Jenoptik's performance.,

  • Analysing trends within the finance function such as sales, expenses, and profit margin.

  • Monitoring KPI's and identifying causes of variances, reporting on key findings.

  • Developing and improving budgeting, financial projections and operating forecasts to support decision making within Jenoptik.

  • Reviewing past performance and anticipating future obstacles and potential problems to forecast financial outcomes, identifying areas of concern to mitigate losses.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial and business performance reporting and analysis.

  • Working alongside key stakeholders to analyse data and suggest improvements.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work independently and to tight timescales while managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for problem solving, continuously helping improve the way we operate and drive business performance., Experience in a FP&A role, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Qualified or working towards qualifications in accountancy (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong reporting skills with an ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing business would be an advantage.
