Full Job Description
- Safely operate an HGV flatbed trailer to transport goods and materials to assigned destinations across the UK.
- Experience in transporting abnormal, long, and wide loads on a flatbed trailer, with a demonstrated proficiency in effectively securing loads using chains, binders, and straps.
- Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.
Valid CPC & Tacho Card - Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with flatbed experience.
- Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
- Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
