Financial Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents

- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff

Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role

- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using Xero accounting software and knowledge of Sage.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Solid understanding of financial management principles

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
