Full Job Description

  • Sort any daily mail received.

  • Monitoring accounts email box

  • Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, investigate any discrepancies

  • Process supplier invoices for payment

  • Process daily cash postings

  • Bank reconciliations (multiple accounts and currencies)

  • Credit control, email statements, perform credit checks and chase overdue accounts in collaboration with the commercial sales team.

  • Reconcile supplier statements

  • Prepare supplier payment runs

  • Reconcile company credit card spend

  • Reconcile petty cash

  • Assist with month end process, posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Assist with year-end audit deliverables., This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.   • Prior accounts experience essential

  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail

  • Able to build relationships with wider business, customers, and suppliers

  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Good understanding of VAT

  • IT literate and proficient in excel

  • AAT qualified desirable/QBE

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices
