Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship

As a level 2 Apprentice, you will be covering all aspects of the Level 2 Childcare qualification

No formal qualifications are required but must have a basic level of numeracy and literacy skills., Communication skills.
Patience.
Hardworking.

Communicating effectively with Children and Parents alike.
Health and Safety.
Safeguarding.
Toileting.
Feeding.
Planning activities.
Your shift pattern will be rotating shifts between 8.00am and 6.00pm ( 40 hours)

Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Sure Steps Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
Functional skills in Maths and English if requiredThis will be delivered through Sure Steps Day Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
