Full Job Description

  • Greet customers and their pets in a friendly manner.

  • Bathe and brush pets according to customer instructions.

  • Assist customers with selecting appropriate pet care products.

  • Clean and sanitise bathing areas after each use.

  • Trim, clip and style a dog's coat with their requested cut style

  • Monitor pets for signs of distress during the bathing process.

  • Provide advice on pet care and grooming techniques.

  • Perform basic nail trimming, ear cleaning and tooth brushing.

    We are looking for an experienced Dog groomer to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for animals, a commitment to providing the highest quality of care and at least 1 year of experience grooming dogs. The successful candidates will be responsible for bathing and grooming pets, monitoring their health, and providing customer service to pet owners. You must be able to confidently groom by yourself and run the salon in managers absence., Dog grooming: 1 year (required)


    • Licence/Certification:
  • Level 2 or 3 Dog grooming Certificate (preferred)

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves animals and wants to further their career in the industry, the position has been listed as part time, however, this is temporary for the first few weeks and growth to full time is expected. We would like to train the successful candidate to manage the salon after the first year.

    Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week,
