Full Job Description

  • Ability to scientifically sell new work to new and existing clients

  • Lead project teams and provide advice to clients

  • Lead proposal development

  • Delegate activities to and supervise junior staff and contractors

  • Oversee projects with very limited or no guidance from senior management

  • Identify and resolve issues/conflicts within project teams

  • Proactively manage project scope and challenges, and devise contingency plans

  • Ability to help with best practice initiatives for projects, employee management, and training

  • Contribute to/making decisions regarding company direction, staffing, and workload

  • Participate in hiring

  • Provide effective mentorship to new employees and as needed to other employees

  • Attend management meetings to discuss proposals, projects, staffing, and other operations

  • Oversee operational activities (e.g., groups, committees)

  • Identify opportunities for and devising strategies to achieve company/project efficiencies

  • Deliver on revenue of $1M-$3M

  • All other duties as assigned

    You are an experienced health economics and market access expert having developed and shepherded various submission to NICE, SMC, NCPE, HAS and G-BA.


  • You are excited about strategy and providing advice to pharma/biotech clients. You are confident in your ability to engage in scientific selling and are comfortable in all matters scientific. You have led (small) teams and want to broaden your scope to help build a new HEOR and market access organisation in Europe.

    You are excited about leading initiatives and shaping teams.

    We will be supported by a 150-person, strong and experienced Canadian team with extensive expertise in systematic reviews, world-class ITCs and global economic models, and medical writing (e.g., GVDs, value propositions, AMCPs, publications).,
  • MSc or PhD university degree in a medical- or mathematics-related field such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statistics

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in health research, health economics, or a related field ideally in a consulting environment

  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills

  • Proven customer focus, with the ability to maintain strong business relationships with clients

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to lead project teams and client meetings

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a sometimes high-pressure environment

  • Experience leading business development and/or proposal development

  • Technically competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency with computer programming software (e.g., VBA) or other role-related software (e.g., EndNote, statistical packages) is an asset

  • Ability to manage personal and project team members' time across multiple competing projects

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management, and clients

  • Ability to effectively supervise, train, and mentor junior employees

  • Ability to provide strategy for and advice on other team projects

  • Awareness of and ability to communicate Eversana's services and offerings

  • Awareness of currents trends in the fields of health economics, statistics, data analytics and evidence synthesis, and/or medical writing
