Full Job Description

Currently, we have part time and full-time positions available. This site is operational Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm and the successful candidates will work 8-9 hour shifts within these hours.

Throughout the year, there will be events/holidays that mean some weekend work will be required but these will be organised in advance.

If you are currently in education, Alpha's 24-hour operation allows us to be able to work your shifts around your timetable.,

  • Handle all inbound calls and in person queries regarding but not limited to bookings, lost property, accounts, and driver queries.

  • Process a large number of bookings in each shift.

  • Fully investigate and resolve all queries via telephone or face to face.

  • Build relationships with a friendly and positive approach.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.

  • Be self-motivated, adapting positively to change.

  • Hold excellent IT skills; ability to update and utilise the in-house computer systems.

  • Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures as a Key Holder.

  • Readily accept responsibility.

  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude.

  • Provide a high level of customer service to drivers and customers.

    We are interested in seeing candidates with experience as a customer service advisor from a telephone-based position or call centre.

  • Have an outstanding telephone manner and rapport building skills.

  • A very resilient character, who is calm under pressure.

  • It is essential that the successful candidate is reliable and responsible due to the nature of being a key holder., Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
