Commercial Underwriter

We are currently recruiting for an Commercial Underwriter to join our established and experienced Underwriting team here at RSA Maidstone on a hybrid basis.
Your Role

As an Existing Business Underwriter you will provide excellent service to our existing customers, largely through renewal processes, to your designated broker panel and across a range of commercial risks including, Property, Motor Trade and Motor Fleet

You will spend most of your time identifying, discussing, negotiating and renewing existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decisions.

We want to exceed expectations by delivering a consistent high-quality service that is valued by our customers and sets us apart in our chosen markets.

To be successful in your role of Commercial Underwriter you will ideally have experience in Commercial Underwriting (property, motor trade or motor fleet), preferably from an underwriting background but a broking background would also be considered.

You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
