Class 1 Shunter Driver

We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join us on a part-time basis, working 05:30-14:30, Thursday and Friday of each week, on a flexible contract., As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will support operations at our client's Derby site by managing the movement of trailers.

Specifically, you will drive a TUG tractor unit and manoeuvre trailers throughout the site to ensure logistics operations are smooth and efficient.

Additionally, you will:

- Use a handheld device to get instructions for your workload
- Effectively communicate with the transport office
- Provide excellent customer service to our client

About You

To be considered as a Class 1 Shunter Driver you will need:

- A LGV Class 1 licence with driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- A CPC Driver qualification
- A current Digital Tachograph Card
- Good working knowledge of working time regulations
- Flexibility around working hours to fit around the needs of the business
