Full Job Description

Our aim is to transform the lives of children who may have experienced complex trauma and abuse. We are dedicated to ensuring that all children are cared for in a stable and nurturing environment. We want motivated and child-centred individuals to join us as we continue to make a difference to the children in our care.

All our staff are professionally qualified or working towards a qualification in therapeutic skills to enable them to meet the children emotional and welfare needs.

You will be a valued member of our team, and we will ensure that you receive the training, support and guidance required to undertake your role. Aspirational candidates will be pleased to hear that there are lots of opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will:

  • Want to work as part of a team to safeguard and care for children.

  • Help maintain daily routine and boundaries.

  • Support children to attend school and participate in activities.

  • Enjoy working collaboratively with all colleagues.

  • Be resilient, positive, and self-motivated.

    It would be desirable if you had experience of working in a children's home, but we would consider all applicants based on their individual merit.

  • Candidates with a Level 3 or equivalent in Children & Young People are preferred.

  • Ideally hold a Full UK Driving Licence
