Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to assist in processing all possession requirements, inputting and identifying opportunities for the Structures Examinations work banks.,

  • Collecting and inputting possession requirements as directed by the Operations Planner - Access

  • Assist with the provision of information into the planning of all works

  • Liaise with the infrastructure maintainer as directed by the Operations Planner - Access

  • Produce possession plans and identify possessions/isolations limits as directed by the Operations Planner - Access

  • Attend all pre-possession meetings to ensure possessions/isolations are of greatest benefit to Structures Examinations

  • Briefing planned possession works to all parties

  • Possession, access and protection planning on behalf of the project

  • Assisting the project team as directed by management

  • Assist and deputise for the Operations Planner – Access as directed

    Good understanding of the construction / railway industry

  • Highly effective motivator with strong written and spoken communication skills and capable of interfacing at all levels in the organisation

  • An ability to handle short term pressures arising from short term deadlines to achieve labour targets

  • Computer literacy and use of planning tools

  • Experience and use of planning tools, Safe behaviour is a requirement of working for Network Rail. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their awareness of our safety vision
