Architectural Technician

Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented freelance residential architectural technologist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team to design and develop architectural projects tailored to our clients' needs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for residential design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to translate client needs into innovative design solutions. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on exciting residential projects from anywhere. Occasional site visits may be required.,

• Work closely with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for residential projects.


• Develop conceptual designs, floor plans, and elevations that meet client needs and adhere to project constraints.


• Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications using industry-standard software.


• Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts and communicate effectively with clients.


• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of residential projects.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and best practices in residential design.
  
  Proven experience in UK residential development, planning applications & building regulations.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, and Photoshop.


• Excellent design skills, with a focus on creativity, functionality, and attention to detail.


• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Experience:

• AutoCAD LT - 2 years


• SketchUP Pro - 2 years, AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)


• SketchUP Pro: 2 years (preferred)
